POSITION SUMMARY
Part Time Permanent Saturdays available in both the Waterbury and Orange Offices of The Eye Care Group. Ideally, you have your COA and at least 5 solid years of experience in a multispecialty Ophthalmology group. However, for a motivated skilled applicant we would welcome consideration of lesser experience. Most Saturdays you would be working with our Optometrist and other ophthalmologists on a rotating basis. Having experience with simple check in and check out procedures will be helpful. Most of the time you would have support at the front desk, but for those lighter days, we would look to you to be able to assist.

- Knowledgeable in ophthalmic assisting procedures and able to answer questions and address concerns in a professional and friendly manner.
Performs all duties of Ophthalmic Technician, and/or as directed by a physician or Leadership - Assists in training and guidance of new technicians, is always teaching and is welcoming.
Has excellent attendance understanding the need of great attendance for patient care and team support - Monitors their own productivity and responsibilities on the clinical floor. Updates methods as needed to maintain efficiency and quality service to patients from the Clinical staff.
Punctuality – Adherence to scheduled times of arrival and departure from work. - Attendance – Reliability in being consistently at work. Maintains positive attitude consisting of cooperation, self-motivation, courtesy, and professionalism.
- Complies with all practice procedures and protocols. Complies with all state and federal regulations. Understands and accepts responsibility to report potential or suspected errors to Compliance Officer.
