Director of Optical ShopsChristina Graham – Director of Optical Shops

Christina Graham Graduated from Middlesex Community College with a Degree in Ophthalmic Design and Dispensing and became a Licensed Optician after passing her Opticians Licensing exam in 2000. Christina is an Active member of the Connecticut Opticians Association and won the award of “Apprentice of the year” before obtaining her Opticians License. Christina started working with The Eye Care Group in 2010, starting in the New Haven office and is currently The Eye Care Groups’ Director of Optical Services. Throughout her career she has worked as both an Optical Shop Manager and a Contact lens fitter. She is passionate about both and enjoys working with Patients in either capacity. Christina spends time in all 4 offices.

Waterbury OpticianWren Hallman – Waterbury Optician

Wren Hallman is a dedicated Optician who obtained his degree in Ophthalmic Design and Dispensing and his CT Optician license in 2017. His passion for problem-solving and personalized care ensures every patient leaves feeling as they received the attention to detail that they deserve. Wren is dedicated to helping all patients feel and see their best. He enjoys using his expertise to give back to the community, such as volunteering with the optical team at the CT Special Olympics.

In his free time, you can find Wren doing pottery in his home studio, reading, relaxing with his family and cats, or spending time outdoors.

Southbury OpticianCamilla Staton – Southbury Optician

Camilla (Cam) Staton received her Optician License in 2004 after graduating with high honors and a degree in Science. Her primary studies were Ophthalmic Design and Dispensing. She is certified by The National Contact Lens Examiners and The American Board of Opticianry. Cam is also a member of The Connecticut Opticians Association.

Cam joined the Eye Care Group in 2005. She is the Optician/Manager of the Southbury Optical Shop. Cam has an extensive knowledge of low vision devices after working closely with Dr. Draper for many years. She finds it very rewarding to help patients with vision loss regain their independence with the use of these devices.

Cam is originally from Ohio and now lives in Bethlehem where she enjoys being outdoors, gardening, kayking, working out, and spending time with her family, especially her twin grand children.

Branford OpticianAngela Dunphy – Orange Optician

Angela Dunphy has been a CT licensed optician since 1989. She is certified by the American Board of Opticianry and the National Contact Lens Examiners, as well as holding a B.S. in Psychology. She is passionate about helping people see while practicing the company’s mantra of “Excellence and Compassion in Eye Care.”

Having been through her own journey with strabismus, Angela has a comprehensive understanding of prism eyewear and the experience of strabismus surgery.

Angela has worked closely with both the VA and the Lion’s Club to help provide eyeglasses to Veterans and people in need. She is also a member of the CT Optician’s Association. Angela enjoys spending time with her family, watching seagulls at the beach, and stargazing. She loves to read, write short stories, embroider, and paint.

Branford OpticianSopheak Tang – Branford Optician

Sopheak Tang is a dedicated optician with over two decades of experience in the field and a passion for helping people see. After completing the Ophthalmic Design and Dispensing program at MXCC in 2007, he earned his Associate Degree and became certified by the American Board of Opticianry and National Contact Lens Examiners. Sopheak has expertise in various aspects of opticianry, including contact lenses, lens fabrication, and personalized eye care solutions. In his free time, you can find Sopheak on the water, fishing and kayaking, and spending time with his wife and daughter.
