Dr. Jillian Kaplita, MD
Dr. Jillian Kaplita is a board-certified ophthalmologist practicing comprehensive ophthalmology. Originally from Southbury, CT, she graduated from Cornell University with a Bachelor of Science in biological sciences and also completed a minor in music. She received her medical degree from Frank H. Netter MD School of Medicine at Quinnipiac University with a concentration in medical education, and she completed her ophthalmology residency at Saint Louis University.
During residency, Dr. Kaplita volunteered with ReSpectacle, a non-profit organization that redistributes used eyeglasses to underserved communities. She also served as her department’s wellness champion.
